  6. Well, Russians didn't prepare for an ukrainian resistance. A 200.000 force simply isnt enough to fight a 800.000 strong ukrainian military. Although that initial mistake was made, since then Russians play pretty well. They shortened their flanks and focused on the Donbas. If they push there, then they don't need to defend new frontlines.

  7. Well, no US can't protect even herself from a Russian nuclear attack, Russians pretty much worked on that problem in the past decade. As it was articulated in dr Strangelove, there is no point to make a doomsday weapon, or an effective defence and keep it secret.

  8. Why we are talking about giving in to Putin? If Ukraine would be neutral, and global security would be preserved, wouldn't it be the best outcome for everyone? NATO don't intend to invite 130 out of 200 countries in the world, why should they invite Ukraine?

  9. Russia is not indestructible, and of course anyone can deliver weapons, but that will have consequences. Ask yourself, what would be the public oppinion in the US or UK if Russia would actively give thousands of weapons to Saddam, or the Afghans to kill Americans. You can be sure they will do it now.

  13. Well it is a misconception, that this is a special thing. Normally Zelensky wouldn't even get time in any parliament in Europe, and there is a pretty solid reason for that. He is not an ally and he is polarising.

  14. I don't think this will lead to a nuclear war. This will lead to a Russian Chinese alliance, maybe a coalition attack on Taiwan and Japan which will be a serious problem for Washington.

They should be sitting in jail, they should be frightened. How many of them even faced charges, let alone faced punishment? Noone. They are just after ordinary citizens. They invaded Crimea, and killed anyone, who not obeyed. Thats the part of the story they don't tell you, you have to be their neighbor to know them. They are not better than the Russians, just speak a different language.

  32. Because Ukraine still has a pretty effective air defense, so Russians cant do deep penetration bombing runs. Thatswhy Russians do their infrastructure bombing, they try to oversaturate these batteries.

Russia cant guarantee, that it won't attack Ukraine anymore, Ukraine cant guarante, that they won't join NATO, US can't guarantee, that they won't attack Russia or push them to the wall, Europe cant guarantee, that they won't side with the US regardless of what they ask. Noone believes noone, so diplomacy is out of question, this has to be fought out.
