  1. Why should Europe solve the problems of the world? We are already overcrowded. If that gives you relief, then there are talks about moving back a portion of Ukrainians into safe parts of Ukraine too. We cant accomodate 8 million people without putting enormous pressure on the housing system. OK we screwed up things in the Middle East I take it, we did let the Syrians and the Afghans in, but what should we do with the Somalis, we are not the reason of their sufferings.

  2. Things are going into that direction, althoug arabs eventually have to make a compromise. Israel will be much smaller, but it will remain in the Middle East. They forfeited the holocaust card, but we still dont want them dead.

  3. Oh come on we have enough slavs in the EU, we dont want more of them. Trust me they are as much annoying as a muslim just in a different way. They are preaching and crying over our historical wrongdoings, playing the victim, meanwhile not recognizing a single mistake made by them, and push us int outright crazy situations. The poles for example can tell you right away from the moral highground that you have to bankrupt your country for ukraine, while they operated a CIA tortur center back in the day.

  5. The problem with us westerners is that we somehow lost the business. Theres that story, that the Chinese diplomats went to African countries, and they asked how can they make business there. Meanhile our diplomats went to Africans and threatened them not to make business with the Chinese, instead of trying to find something what is profitable for both. I dont see how could this happen, but it happened, we somehow dont have the economic power, or the will to engage with these countries in development.

  7.  @peterquennellnyc  Yeah, we in Europe have "austerities" since the 2008 crysis, it completely wiped our economies, those are direct neoliberal policies. People are really at their breaking points now, thatswhy they are annoyed. If these refugee cryses would happen pre 2008 Europe would handle them entirely differently, but now it is a straight political suicde to any government to take in millions of refugees while they cant deliver to their own countrymen, so now we have to be selective on whom to help. And there are the realities. Maybe in southern europe we could accomodate these people in tents as an emergency measure, but in northern europe they must be housed, that means the government has to rent appartments, that will push rentals up, which makes locals struggling and angry.

  9.  @windalfalatar333  Because Stalin did not veto it although he could have. China was not in the SC. BTW the whole point of the Sec council and vetoes is that mayor nuclear powers dont get into direct conflict with eachother, so at present North Korea or Pakistan would have better chaces to be present as a permanent member than Brasil.
