  28.  @muliu2230Ā  I'm happy to answers any questions/comments you have good or bad. The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ changed my life. I think this is a really good question!!! Like one of the most important. Why does God Use prophets rather than just come down here himself? To us a prophet is someone that God has Called to to be a witness. They are people and they make mistakes. But their role is critical. Why Critical? This is because part of the purpose of this life is to grow and become like our father in Heaven. He's not looking for robots, he's looking for people that freely chose good over evil and love him freely and aren't forced by the fact of proof or his presence. It's like when you get married, you don't want your spouse to love you because you are rich. You want them to love you because they love YOU. God loves YOU because you are his child and he wants you to grow and become an independent force for good. A prophet allows you to Listen (or read) what they said God said and make the choice to experiment on the words they say. Does the help with what the roll of a prophet is? I believe Joseph Smith and Russel Nelson are prophets like Moses or peter in the bible (in Jerusalem) or like Alma and Nephi (in Zarahemla). The reasons I believe that is I've listened to and read their words, and thought about them where they lead, what the mean, and have been willing to act on them. And God has shown me in my heart and mind that they are true. The Book of Mormon offers the same promise. You can read it and Ask God for yourself it is true. Do you have an online copy in your language? What language do you speak? Good luck. And again I'm happy to talk about anything you'd like, good or bad. Best
