No they aren’t. The forces involved are double or triple what they’re capable of working with. A turbunique axle goes under as much stress as top fuel parts. The displacement of a 1200hp turbuniqe is equivalent to a liter bike engine or smaller

@holyravioli5795 baloney. There was so much more freedom back then where it COUNTED, not on a book or in a congressional movement. People said "if you wanna die in flames, that's your thing. Just don't kill me." THAT is what people miss

It’s a rocket with a turbine attached, doesn’t work like a jet turbine engine at all. The fuel isn’t the problem.
