@forrestst.martin291 but not all the cars are going to be self driving, and they never will be. There are jobs on the road that cannot be trusted to the error of a brainless program that cannot account for variables it was never introduced to. It's nonsensical to think that AI will be able to replace humans. Unless everything is in a controlled environment, repeating the same tasks (like a car factory, where AI machines moving thousands of pounds at ridiculous speeds and perform complex tasks all at once, have no variables, and work flawlessly), it's not going to work. Either the whole planet is a climate controlled factory, humans are still necessary

no it isn't. Public transport is awful

@forrestst.martin291 The problem here is that you're assuming human error is the problem with transportation. That's an assumption, along with saying that technology will eclipse human judgement, along with the assumption that technology is the solution to the transportation problem, that most people don't believe exists. What problems do we really have that can definitely be fixed by AI, and why haven't the solutions been even presented in a half-serious manner??

ford be like: there is no unacceptable risk parameters

@idontwantahandlethough like I care what the "experts" think, as if you didn't make up every word of what you said, edited your comments and liked them yourself. You're trying to look slower than usual today?

@Xad Kile people are literally body to body on those trains lol. That's the best you've got?

@christopherreichle6670 well known fact, white people hate public transportation and mexico. Sickening, but we can use buses to eventually stop racism.
1
@christopherreichle6670 what? That's like.... clearly the issue though. Public transport does indeed mean more mexicans leaving cities. How are they supposed to feel safe if they can't FREELY go to racist white neighborhoods outside the cities? America is based on freedom, including freedom of travel. If your freedom to move around is blocked by traffic, you should be able to get wherever you want to go on a predetermined and potentially alterable no-notice schedule so you can experience what it means to be an american. Finally we brothas can rize up.

@elizabethhicks4181 I'm already subscribed to him. The issue is that bicyclists act like animals and don't share the road OR sidewalks, and yet expect to be treated like equals. Bike lanes shouldn't exist, because they just increase the chances of people in the road and sidewalk getting hit. Bike tunnels and suspended paths are the solution. An expensive one perhaps, but it removes every single issue associated with the losers and demoniacs that are bicyclists.

@IsomerSoma buses? Safe? Are you out of your mind?
1
@Darca1n 99% of american buses don't even have seatbelts
1
@Darca1n no all the vehicles are brand new with no seatbelts
1
@Bobsponge3521 proportionally speaking, bikes are a lot more dangerous.

@lcg3092 Kurzgesagt was always showing signs of being ready to sell out.

@AnxiousEducator oh you went straight to insanity, okay

@jalicea1650 as a minority from an immigrant family that supports Donald trump, you are the most bigoted and uninformed person I have ever seen on the internet, possibly in my life. You managed to misrepresent and falsely characterize entire political movements, beliefs, cultures, and ideals all in one comment, lumping in anti-fascst conservatives fighting Marxism and self-destructive beliefs of radical leftist insanity by claiming “the other guys did it!” If what you have said is not out of ignorance, but rather willful intent to deceive, all I can say is God help you.
