U believe sati was eradicated without second thought! You need to read a little bit about Bal Gangadhar Tilak's fight to end Sati. Thank God it was Britishers then . In current scenario even to ban sati huge debate would be going on. And dowry is not completely eradicated.

@Sachin Kumar : my reply was to Vidhya not to u. I replied because she said these evil were willing given up . That is not the case. Where in my comment did i mention shabarimala?

@Sachin Kumar : looks like u have some problem interpreting my comments. If Vidhya would have replied, it would have been meaningful, as i was addressing her. I dont even understand , why for each and every statement i make , u have a argument. I never mention u, i never mentioned your beloved Sabarimala, i did not tell u should not comment to Vidhya not me and i have no problem whether u totally agree or disagree to Vidhya.

@veegee1989 : i understand very well. I also understand very well as to why this issue is blow out of proportion. If u have read my original comment i mentioned only about dowry and sati. Nothing else.
