  3.  @susalimbu3620  : you should read the page completely. He was born Siddhartha Gauthama , a Sakya prince in Lumbini current day Nepal.Buddha means the enlightened one. He became enlightened in Bodh gaya , current day India. He was not the first Buddha.

  4.  @susalimbu3620  : ur example does not make any sense. An enlightened person is called Buddha. Just like your Ram Sharma became a doctor in Nepal Gauthama became Buddha in current day India. Also in Buddha's era there was no Nepal or Republic of India. He was citizen of Sakya dynasty. And please refer the map to check Sakya dynasty provinces. It included both parts of current day India and Nepal.

  6.  @daisuki1444  ; try to differentiate between religion and social structure. At least people of different "cast" dont have different temples. All hindus can visit any temple irrespective of cast. There are soo many denomination in other religions too. Why that is not frowned upon?
