@haranbtech006 : yet to meet a house husband in India. Even if there is one, it's a drunkard who doesn't work, steals money from wife and spends drinking the whole day. These "house husbands" I have seen.

Iam a woman working in semiconductor industry. This pay difference is because women doesn't know how to negotiate paycheck. First generation working women , in whose house all money matters were handled by fathers, find it very difficult to discuss money.

I think you missed, "same job same role". Nobody is telling pay a fresher woman same as male CEO 😅. Sometimes for the same role and job responsibilities women get paid less.

@akashmrk : nobody performs better just because of gender. In my team I read resume, take interviews and hire. Appraisals based on performance not gender. I have male team members who disappear for days without progress report or any update. It's all about one's attitude nothing about gender.

@akashmrk : can you name some of these corporations who are "bumping up" salaries for women. My manager is a woman, no increments since covid😄 I will join these corporations
