  1. I think Oceanside is one of the best cities in San Diego to have "effortless" days. Very laid back vibe and little tourism compared to the other beach towns. Don't know what it's like now, but I remember the town actually feeling a bit sleepy at times. The marina area is also a nice place to hang out if you like the boating scene. Enjoy!
