Sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, Jim VanderHei, but the media has lost all its credibility. We are all the media now. There's nothing journalists and cameramen and interviewing analyst, podcasters, or paparazzi can do that the rest of can't. Smartphones did that. Technology leveled the playing field. One only has to do the leg work to get to a source is all, and that always depends on that individuals determination. The American citizens are not as dumb as you and your colleagues appear to believe. When the mainstream media is pushing their politically biased inaccurate, fabricated opinions that Trump is a misogynistic racist Hitler who won't let women have abortions or Joe Biden is as sharp as a tack or that the 2024 election is to close to tell, then mainstream media is no longer credible. When trashing the opposition with lies to bolster one own views and agendas becomes more important than it is to tell the truth, then those narratives need to be put to the side, for the sake of the person in question because theres something going on in their mind heart and soul that way more important than politics.
