One has to realise that there are areas in Israel where the humidity level in the Summer is very high (80% +) usually coastal regions - in the South , specifically Eilat , the Summer temps are higher , but the humidity level is a lot lower .I'd rather bare myself to the Sun in Eilat than Tel-Aviv , so folk might might be advised to get their vitamin D " fix " where the (sunny) weather is more tolerable for them personally . I ALSO think diet has a lot to do with conditioning against certain ailments .The Israeli /Mediterranean diet is FAR healthier than the traditional British breakfast , even if it does sometimes resemble a smorgasbord for rabbits ( because of the amount of salad-stuff included ) - my five shekels worth
