Now that Israel has OPENLY condemned Russia , AND voted against it in the U.N , I think the least " we" can do is provide body armour , which I have heard is considerably lighter than the kit they are using now ( this on top of the field hospitals that it has set up )

@robertharper3754 I don't think you realise where Israel finds itself in this conflict , you merely assume you know .For one thing , Russia has at least 2 bases ( 1 navy , 1 Air Force ) inside Syria , so Israel has to tread carefully

@ObeseMcDese precarious because Israel imports much of its grain ( and other commodities ) from BOTH countries ., and there are immigrant communities from both sides virtually living side by side in Israel .

For the record , some duel Ukrainian-Israeli nationals with IDF combat experience HAVE returned to their country of birth to help out

imagine how much MORE gear the Biden administration COULD HAVE SENT to the Ukraine , if they would have managed a more orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan

@coulj6917 Israel is caught between a rock and a hard place - I live in an area where I'm sure there are folk from both countries , and couldn't tell the difference between the two nationalities based on language alone . I'm sure Israel IS aiding the Ukraine in SOME WAYS , but sending iron dome batteries or similar gear is simply out of the question , so it would have to be body armour , or duel purpose gear or combat medical kits , something of that nature . As the war will undoubtedly come to an end one day , and Ukraine's sewage and water infrastructure is damaged , maybe Israel's expertise in water desalination plants , would be able to quench the thirst of those literally dying for something to drink
