  1. Here we go again .... Taiwan (Republic of China) existed BEFORE China (People's Republic of China). Yes Taiwan was the original, and still is the REAL China. After the communists took the mainland, both governments claim to be the real China. Same situation woth North and South Korea. SEPARATE COUNTRIES
