  5. My father was a Commando, and never spoke about the war. When I dared to ask him what it was like, he said "Hell", and walked away. He never spoke about it ever, except to confirm he was a Commando and took part in the Spearhead operation.

  6. I had a great xmas day too, with 2 of my 3 daughters, my 2 grown up grandsons and Bailey the Beagle 😂. 6 hours of fun, food and frivolity. Phew, i'm resting today . After all, at 71 yrs old, excitement, fun and chaos does tire me a bit 😂.

  9. Not having message discipline has resulted in a lot of politicians and celebs falling from grace, targeted by the left mainly. Being careful about how you word things, so that you tell it like it is, but don't upset one part of your potential voters. That's how i see it anyway.

  16. My father was a Commando as part of the Spearhead , and I was very proud of him. He met my Belgian mother during the liberation. She was living next door to Guestapo headquarters and always said " if they had searched our house and found my radio, we, (her family) would have been shot". My parents were both heroes RIP.
