  1. I think Emil misread Finland's president's message. What he was trying to do is downplay the act of Finland's joining NATO by saying that relations with Russia are still calm and there is no falling-out from Russia because of that. In other words, Finland still hopes that Russia won't be harsh on Finland after joining Russia's enemy again - the first time was in WWII.
