  1.  @benktlofgren4710  "You should ask yourself first why was Ukraine sending the military to Donbas in the first place" - Why on earth I should ask myself a question, the answer to which I already know all too well? And it's really really simple: they started bombing us because we refused to submit to the new illegal authorities in Kiev that had become as such by means of revolution, that is, by means of violation of the Constitution of Ukraine. Our Constitution didn't allow any revolutions. Nevertheless, they removed the legally elected President who had been recognized by all countries of the world (including yours) without even initiating impeachment as was required by the Constitution. According to the Constitution, they simply had no right to exercise any control over any region of Ukraine. They had seized the state power by illegal means. According to the Article 5 of the Constitution, they were criminals. In fact, for us to submit to them, would have meant to support their crime. And we, on the other hand, had all the rights to refuse to submit to them - there was no such article in the Constitution that would say that in case of a revolution all regions of the State of Ukraine should submit to the winning side. "...and what was Russia's role in it" - Russia's role was absolutely clear: Russia started supporting us by sending us weapons. And what's wrong with that? Isn't it what, say, the USA is doing now in Taiwan while at the same time, rather paradoxically, recognizing Taiwan as part of China? And, by the way, Russia never did that before the unconstitutional revolution took place in Kiev in February 2014, that is, while the Constitution of Ukraine, which is the very law that defines the State of Ukraine, was still valid and not compromised. "...if you like Russia so much better why live in Ukraine?" - I, in fact, liked Donbass (which is my motherland, the place where I was born, grew up and am still living) more than Russia. However, if Kiev starts bombing me, while Russia is trying to protect me, then take a wild guess which side I should like more. Or do you want me to like those who are killing me and my family? :) "It does not matter at all how much you like your home or if you were born there, if you see yourself as Russian you are a guest in another country, yes GUEST!" - On boy! Are you really being serious here? Please, tell me that you are just joking. This argument of yours is so lame that there are only two cases, in which your face could be saved: either you are joking, or you are a complete dummy. So, by your logic, if I was born, say, in California to an ethnic Serbian family who are citizens of the USA and are holders of the USA passports, I am still just a guest in the USA because of my Serbian ethnicity?! Well, if you say yes, then you really need to have a reality check. One thing is clear to me from your comment is that you were not in Donbass in 2014 when this war was just starting and I doubt you have ever been to Ukraine. However, what is really funny is that you think that you know things better than me and have the arrogance to even teach me on this topic. That's not surprising, though - this is how the whole West has been toward us Russians since the break up of the USSR in 1991.
