Git is an unintuitive, over complicated mess. But we’re stuck with it for the next decade or two unfortunately. Doesn’t mean you have to like it though. It’s the JS of source control.

@tentative_flora2690 Yeah, you can put the files wherever. I mean, if you want Google to have access to all your code and have a good chance of suddenly deleting it one day without warning, you could do that
