  2. Nah that’s BS. This data can easily be misinterpreted, purposefully so if you ever have to sue your company for wrongful termination, harassment, or some other crime. They’ll claim you were a bad employee because you showed up 2 min late to a few meetings or because your teams status wasn’t active a solid 8 hours a day, every day, or they’ll just login as you can send fake messages or emails that incriminate you and good luck proving it. If you can’t measure employee performance by what they produce and instead need ambiguous metrics from a spyware tool, you’re a failure of a manager.

  3. 100%, Microsoft will be tracking everything you do on your personal devices, laundering it through 3rd party data brokers, then employers will buy it from them to spy on you and MS will pretend they had nothing to do with it because there was a middle man.
