@LennyMiller739 And who says you’re qualified to even spot all potential issues? And are you verifying every release of every OSS you use, no, there’s not enough time to.

Nothing happened to MS, nothing will happen to google. They’ll be forced to stop forcing their search as the default option and instead will pay to have it show up as the first option in the OS selection. 98% of people will still chose Google because they don’t know any better. Google will probably end up saving money not paying everyone to be the default. If they’re smart they’ll spend that money on making google search and their cloud services not garbage. Cloud services will ultimately be worth far more than search and at higher margins. And MS is killing google on this front. That’s what happens when you hire a DEI CEO

Be sure to upload a constant stream of long videos that are nothing but random color static (very resistant to compression). YT/Google spy on us, censor us, manipulate our elections, bribe politicians, push propaganda. Thank them by costing them billions in storage, bandwidth, and processing power. If even 1% of people on YT uploaded a long video of static every two days, they would be struggling to keep their storage arrays from being full and taking major systems offline.

@CleetusGlobin People like MO are making YT content, they’re not going thorough code audits of every open source security app there is, and again for every release.

@Wren1 And who is this one person and how do I know I can trust them

Doesn’t matter if MS does anything about it or not, their software and services have become little more than spyware and political propaganda. It’s just not useful going forward to anyone who cares even a little about privacy.

@CleetusGlobin How many open source crypto apps were found to e compromised after someone finally did a real code audit? Too many. And even after an audit, who is doing ongoing audits of every update? And if someone is, how do you trust them? Are you personally checking and are you qualified to find all possible leaks and back doors? That’s the issue with all software. Being open just makes it easier to read, it doesn’t ensure someone honest and qualified had reviewed everything.

@kongstrong88Apple allows state actors to run checks on data before it’s encrypted and reports back if any data matching anything the gov is looking for was found on the device. This was their compromise to not putting in a full access back door. But it’s still a back door and more than enough to get you disappeared in many countries.

@deathkeys1 If you’re making your server identify and block DDoS traffic, you don’t know what you’re doing.

@whohan779 Stop trying to make “LatinX” a thing

And Apple, MS, and Google are brining this sort of spying to your devices under the guise of AI assistants. They will scan all the content on your computer, phone, tablet and report you if they find anything they don’t like.

@ChadAV69 The blue haired group are the racists though, and most of the porn comes from them too
