The word is fine, it means slowed or stunted mental ability which is 100% apt to them. People used it to make fun of others but who cares, they use every other supposedly correct term to do the same. People use “special needs” and “mentally handicapped” as an insult. No matter what new term you make up, people will use it as an insult. This whole thing isn’t about bullying or being polite, it’s about controlling speech, period.

@JanoTuotanto Rooms for bathing were inside while toilets were in outhouses. When indoor plumbed toilets were invented, they were moved into the bathing room for most people. If you had enough money you had a rook just for the toilet and referred to it as the toilet or water closet.

Islam gets nothing, this isn’t a real thing. It’s a gaslighting attempt. Don’t play along, be vocal against it, and eventually they’ll give up on it
