  10. If everyone in the US disappeared tomorrow and no CO2 was ever emitted by humans in its borders again, it wouldn’t make any difference to climate change. It’s going to happen no matter what over the next 150 years. Deal with it. Reduce pollution because it’s good for everyone but don’t pretend we’re going to stop average temps from rising slightly over the next century by shaving tiny amounts of emissions of this or that.
