He’s not describing things he has just because he wants them, he’s describing things he wants because he thinks it will get him the attention he craves and a sense of superiority and power over others. They feel entitled to live in the most expensive areas, have as many kids and cars as they want, everyone gets a new iPhone every year, and working the most simple jobs have to just make that all happen, otherwise they claim it doesn’t pay a living wage. Low pay jobs couldn’t exist without there being more labor than jobs. Immigration is the problem. They keep importing cheap labor to keep wages down.

If you can’t fit all your stuff in one mid sized U-Haul truck for 3 people, you have your priorities all messed up. It doesn’t cost that much to move. Save up for first and last month’s rent on a new place. If you can’t do that then you need to declare bankruptcy or something because you got yourself in deep somehow.

Nothing wrong with someone, anyone, wanting a career, but people need to understand that the whole push to get women into the workforce at scale was to lower wages for everyone. It also helps hide inflation because people see they can afford more stuff with two incomes and don’t complain about decades of inflation or hold the gov to task over it. They fail to account for their time, freedom, and quality of parenting going into sharp decline, but hey, more stuff!
