  1. Nothing glamorous about it. Aside from a handful of neighborhoods with expensive houses (which are all surrounded by bad areas), it’s mostly ugly urban sprawl, homeless people, every park is full of zombie like opioid addicts. The places like Rodeo Drive that people think are so upscale are super disappointing in person. Oh and the beaches are awful lol. It’s a mess of a city in a mess of a state
