  1. It’s his whole world view that’s messed up, not his ability to convince others to adopt it. Him admitting he’s bad at being a propagandist and that he’ll diligently work harder at it isn’t something to commend.

  2. This whole idea that if someone vaguely looks like you, they’ll somehow care about you or treat you better is the basis of this nonsense “representation” argument. It’s not even close to true much less provably so. If it was then black on black crime wouldn’t be massively higher than white on black. You wouldn’t have had countless genocides where people turned on each other over ideology. Skin color, gender, hair texture. These things don’t matter. They don’t make you better, more honest, more skilled, and certainly not able to magically understand the situation of everyone who has the same as you.
