  2. Wonder if the data was any good. Ancel Keys was the same researcher who published the study which lead to the idea that carbs were great and fat is what caused heart disease by purposefully omitting data that refuted his narrative.

  3.  @supersteve1224 Most of this is correct but in US prisons, the obesity rate for men is only a bit lower than the national average (which is very high) and for women it’s pretty much the same. So no lack of calories. I don’t have data on how nutritious the food is in general but they’re certainly not being given low calorie diets.
