@JLSAudioWorx Even the National Police Association has articles on why unreported crime is on the rise meaning the statistics have become useless. If crime is so low then why are hundreds of businesses closing specifically due to crime? Businesses that never had this kind of problem before in those locations. Why is nearly every store in large parts of cities across CA and NYC, Denver, and more, locking up things like laundry detergent.

@jlblost Why would crimes be more reported due to Covid lol. You must have dislocated a few joints on that stretch

When he says trump is a “convicted” felon, he’s just bragging that he was corrupt enough to make sure he was never convicted for his own crimes

Not just that but lots of police forces actively push victims to not even press charges so there’s no crime on paper to be counted. The crime happened, the government is just ignoring it and the media is looking the other way.

@RobertSmith-kj6eb Lots of reports of victims being told by cops not to report crimes that happened to them, being gaslit into thinking a crime never happened. Both reports by local media and individuals. Even have police officers admitting to it. How about you go walk around NY or SF or LA till you get robbed and assaulted then call the cops and see for yourself, since you’ll act like a flat earthier and claim any proof isn’t proof until it happens to you.

@myself1525 I’m sure if that 7-11 reported thefts the police would do nothing and make no report of it

@BerniBernsify No, this is new. New crime data collection and reporting went into effect in 2021 and multiple large cities including LA and NYC have not been reporting crime stats to the federal gov. Also, due to DAs and AGs refusing to press charges for many crimes now, police aren’t bothering to arrest and there have been many reports of victims having police try and talk them out of filing a report.

@frankmolinari4800 Go look up the 2021 FBI new crime reporting database, around 25% of the country still isn’t feeding crime data into the new system which has massively skewed and underreported crime stats. This includes LA, NYC, Phoenix, and other large cities.

@BerniBernsify Funny how you resort to obvious dodges, brining up totally irrelevant things because you know you’re wrong
1
@BerniBernsify Yeah, no. And sad your follow up to an obvious dodge attempt is just another obvious dodge attempt. Unless you can somehow disprove the fact that the FBI changed its crime stats data collection system in 2021 and that around a quarter of the country is still not reporting into it. Or somehow prove that a quarter of the country not feeding into the database used by politicians and the media to make invalid claims about crime going down, just walk away because you’re either just being a troll or too dumb to understand basic reasoning.
