  4. @ They’ll let anyone in if they show they have cash. Lao people don’t go into this place unless they have a specific reason to be there like work. Thais sometimes go although they prefer the casinos along the Cambodian border. Seen more than a few rich Thais driving their Ferraris and Porsches down dirt roads on the other side of the border to get to the casinos. If they assume or see you have money to blow, you’re welcome to come lose it

  7. It’s way overblown, lots of western expats living in Laos have done it without any issue. It’s YT, they exaggerate everything for views. No question, the Chinese are awful and destroying every country in the region, but the whole, “I’m in danger” thing is way overblown.p in this video.
