Of the nearly $74b given to Ukraine so far, $1.6b was humanitarian aid not from the DoD budget and $26.4b was through various economic support schemes, not from the DoD budget. As for the rest which did come from the DoD budget, the government could have simply lowered defense funding by that amount. It isn’t some law of nature that this money had to go to the DoD.

Creates a controllable, disruptive caste which destroys the middle class so that there’s nothing left but a ruling elite and powerless poor which will be exterminated through manufactured famine, disease outbreaks, crime, and mass abortion. Soon they’ll start giving increased welfare to poor people who opt into sterilization. With AI and robotics, the rich won’t need billions of humans in their way. They’ll be able to maintain their lifestyle and not have to share global resources. Wouldn’t take more than a few hundred million people to continue human progress.
