  1. @StrayKat1980That’s not nutritious though. If you try and live off lettuce and some seed oil salad dressing, you’re going to run into all sorts of micronutrient deficiencies, not to mention see a lot of tissue loss and degradation due to lack of protein

  5. It isn’t. It’s a lie that poor people can only afford fast and processed foods and that’s why they get fat and it’s not their fault. For the price of one meal at McDonald’s in the US you can have two healthy, simple, home cooked meals. Even if you’re dead broke you can eat some chicken, wild rice (more expensive e than garbage white rice but far, far, more nutritious), and take a multi vitamin and be far better off than eating a ton of processed foods thinking it’s cheaper when it’s not. I see so many low income people wasting so much money on soft drinks and diabetes inducing fruit juice, drink water, it costs nothing
