How way too many teachers today don't know basic Math or English, and so they default to Sociology for kindergarten through 12th Grade. And often highly questionable sociology at that. We've had to institute laws about teachers not just teaching their bad opinions constantly instead of actual useful basic knowledge/skills.

And a minor will come into contact with way more teachers, so the chance is higher. You want some Jeffrey Thomas Simonek, or Percy Fields, or Anessa Paige Gower teaching? That was a TERRIBLE argument and I can't help thinking homeschooling would have equipped you better.
