  3. Trains are not cars, they need a lot more time. The driver dont have to push a pedal down like in a car. When you pul the brake in a train you can walk away and the rain keep on "braking". Outside that, when the driver walk away the train wil go on emergency brake right away. Every european train has a "dead mans switch" (i dont know if that is the correct name in English, thats why i use the " ) So just not be on the controls is enough for the train to hit his brakes big time. Nevertheless even a small train like this one has ten time the weight of a truck top stop on iron to iron, not rubber to tarmack.

A thing environmentalists stil do not understand. The energy and pollution of this very minor eruption is already more than all technology on Iceland since the day is is invented.   11. It actually was one of the first effects to ad drama and confusion to movies. This was in the era when movie cameras are hand crancked, using celluloid film and no further editting was possible. Only a good camera operator could do this. Later it was used to mimmick amateur shots with consumer level cameras while actually shot with a professional movie camera. But this guy just dont know how to handle a camera and never read the manual how to activate steady shot.

  13. A river or, flash flood path for that matter, has an obvious route where it will stream through. Never have your cattle on that place and bever build there, even not when it has been dry for centuries. Because even 8 centuries for mother nature is about 20 seconds ago for human live. When you are a local, you know when the melting season start and the rain season etc, so get your butt out of there. There is no god who will protect you, only your brain and sober thinking. Why does it take the Dutch to understand this? We dont have mountains and a snowy winter is a collectors item.
