  3. Trains are not cars, they need a lot more time. The driver dont have to push a pedal down like in a car. When you pul the brake in a train you can walk away and the rain keep on "braking". Outside that, when the driver walk away the train wil go on emergency brake right away. Every european train has a "dead mans switch" (i dont know if that is the correct name in English, thats why i use the " ) So just not be on the controls is enough for the train to hit his brakes big time. Nevertheless even a small train like this one has ten time the weight of a truck top stop on iron to iron, not rubber to tarmack.
