  2. It actually was one of the first effects to ad drama and confusion to movies. This was in the era when movie cameras are hand crancked, using celluloid film and no further editting was possible. Only a good camera operator could do this. Later it was used to mimmick amateur shots with consumer level cameras while actually shot with a professional movie camera. But this guy just dont know how to handle a camera and never read the manual how to activate steady shot.
