  1.  @Sassmate369  Most martial arts become a cult, actually a religion. They have the same setup and behavior as a religion. And you hardly can get people out of religion either. The difference is that religion is a widely accepted and even by laws protected form of cheating the masses. Open history books and point me where religion did any good for the common people. The same goes for most of todays martial arts. Just see in the youtube comments. Martial arts are no more then fight sports. On the street you need luck.

  3. I find "martial arts" the wrong name. Martial arts it watered down Roma Latin language which is the basis of nearly all European languages of today. It come from "arthem Mars" which means Art from Mars. Mars was the Roman god of warfare. So martial arts are actually military training of the Roman legion. To this perspective, a jet fighter pilot is more a martial artist as a karate master. But through the years the name of martial arts is given to Asian fight sports. Most martial art are also not that ancient. The far most of then are post war and developed in the 50's and 60's. It is weird that the oldest of them are hardly seen as martial arts: boxing, greek-roman wrestling, fencing and archery. Far most people even never heard of the very oldest of them all: Kalaripayattu from India. Stop calling it martial arts, it are fight sports. For self defense in the knife and gun era, it is completely obsolete. Yes, even the holy BJJ en the near cult MMA.

  6. Back then, they made music, who liked it, liked it, and who didn't, didn't. The bands didn't care about that. Today, they fist start to see how many millions they can made with it, the actual music is not important anymore. Today, also the look of the artist is very important. Justin Bieber never got that far if he did not have that cute boyish look over him. The next step is that today we suffer from DJ's who stuck in their youth and don't broadcast anything else as what they liked when they were 18. In other words gansta rap. But there is still good music like Caro Emerald and Lindsey Sterling to name 2 of them.
