  1. Election commission is a public servant. It is no different from an employee in a company. Where an employee has been caught red handed stealing from the company, he is immediately suspended pending investigation. He is reinstated or terminated depending on the outcome of the investigation. Same applies to the election commission which is an employee of the masses. Where ECI and not only CEC has been caught not only stealing votes but rigging entire electoral process it has to be suspended pending investigation. Unfortunately a weak opposition is being too lukewarm in its opposition to the compromised ECI.

  2. Who watches the watchman? Problem is not one Gyanesh Kumar. Entire democratic system has been compromised by this government. Just like ED, CBI, CAG, supreme court etc the ECI aka Election Commission of India is also compromised. Therefore impeachment against one Gyanesh Kumar makes no sense when the entire system has collapsed which also includes the 4th pillar of democracy aka media.
