He needs to describe the race, ethnicity, national origin of those who attacked him. If the attackers in every incident belong to the same ethnicity, race etc then you know these are targeted attacks on Indian students and not random acts of violence.

@hue5398 Assamese and Bengali are both one and the same language. The part that went under Afghan and Turkic occupation became Bangal aka Bengal and the part that went under Tai Chinese and Burmese occupation became Oxom erroneously pronounced as Assam. The moolnivasis of both NE aka Kamrupa and Bengal are one and the same. Massive migration to these places from all parts of the world has completely changed the demography of these places.

@hue5398 Ahoms are Tai Chinese and not natives of Kamrupa. Tai Chinese adopted local culture and customs just like many Afghans and Turks did in what became Bengal. Kamrupa aka undivided Oxom was invaded and occupied first by Tai Chinese followed by the Burmese. This is how the demography of NE is so different from rest of the subcontinent. Similarly Vanga aka Bangal was first occupied by Afghans followed by Turkic Mughals. This is how Islam came to Bengal. These are historical facts and not figments of my imagination.

@hue5398 The Assamese and Bengali languages have differed slightly due to centuries of one part being under Sino Burmese occupation whereas the other was under Turkic Afghans who speak Persian languages. Which is why same words are pronounced differently in West Bengal Bengali, Bangladeshi Bengali and Assamese. Assamese is much more similar to Bengali than Sylheti which has a script different from Bengali and Assamese script. The Bengali spoken in Bangladesh has many Arabic Persian words. If you listen to Bangladeshi pop songs, they sound a mix between Hindi and Bengali. The Hajong Chakma are Sino Burmese people whose original language might have been different. Like the Meitei and Ahoms they too could have adopted the local language, culture, customs, religion etc when they settled in this part of India.

@hue5398 The language of Kamrupa real name of Assam and Vanga real name of undivided Bengal are one and the same which is why they both have same script. After 600 to 800 years of foreign occupation, you cannot expect the language to remain the same. Indian English, is not the same as British English or Australian English although all are considered English.

@hue5398 Do you realize Bengali and Assamese are anglicized foreign names of the same thing?? Bangali is actually a Persian name and Oxom a Tai Chinese name. But yes, what we call Bengali and Assamese, are both native languages of this region.

@hue5398 Nagas and Mizos don't consider themselves Indians. Ergo the several decades long insurgencies and refusal to integrate with India which resulted in article 371. Tata and Maneckshaw are Indians by nationality but Iranians by blood which is why the Parsis keep themselves completely insulated from Indians while living in India for last more than 1000 years. Bhagat Singh was a Jat Sikh who are very much natives of Punjab. If we have to be one nation, first we need truth and reconciliation instead of lies, appeasement and suppression/ distortion of history.

How about Modani answering questions about corruption against them and Nishikant clearing the charges of fake education qualification? Law cannot be applied selectively. If this happens India is no longer a democracy the glue that sticks this vast subcontinent together.

@hue5398 what is the difference between both languages except pronunciation?? After Tai, NE till 1832CE was under Burmese occupation. You are correct. Ahoms are one out of the several people living in NE. The Nagas, Kukis, Mizos etc are Burmese Chin people. They have retained their language, culture and customs.

@hue5398 Actions speak louder than words. If Mizos consider themselves Indians, then why article 371 like article 370 in Kashmir? Why the never ending insurgency with the support of enemies of India? Why just yesterday, Mizoram CM told in USA that Mizos need a separate nation?? Insurgencies are present only where two civilizations and races interact where one tries to dominate over the other leading to a perennial battle between the two. Kashmir, like Bengal Hyderabad Punjab Hindustan etc etc was under Afghan and Turkic occupation for several centuries. They look with contempt at the indigenous people which is the bedrock of the two nation theory propagated first by Ahmed Khan, a Pathan. The Hyderabadi Muslims are not Telegus the real sons of the soil. The Hyderabadi Muslims don't speak Telegu but Urdu. They too tried to ethnically cleanse the Hyderabad state of Telegus and replace them with Afghans, Persians, Turks and Arabs. The Nizam like the Nawabs of other parts of the subcontinent was not a native but an Afghan. Chattisgarh, is a clash between sons of the soil Adivasis and Indo Aryan Hindi government in New Delhi. The Indo Aryans look with contempt at the dark skinned aborigines of the subcontinent which is the root of caste system which is also present in some form among the Christians and Muslims. The same Zoroastrians marry outside their faith and all non Zoroastrians to convert to their faith in Iran, the home country of this religion. But, not in India where you see same casteism being practiced by the Parsis. The Parsis, were allied and favored by the British. East India Company, first set up their factories in Surat, the place where Parsis settled after they took refuge in India. The Parsis acted as the middlemen of the European merchants, a role they continue to play to this day. The Greeks used to call the land around Sindhu river as India and the people living there as Indians. We never called ourselves Indians. Today's Indian and Pakistani army came out of the British India Army which was created by the British to protect them from the natives and not the other way around. Which is why both these armies excel in counter insurgency operations but suck when it comes to taking on external aggressors.

@samratraha9246 Bengali is the most spoken language in both Assam and Tripura. Large parts of Bengal were merged with Assam by the British to make the state economically viable.
