  1. Nature of wars depend on nature of economy and nature of technology. Majority of the militaries are still functioning as per the legacy of napoleonic armies of large number of foot soldiers. Those who go to modern battlefield with old philosophies and techniques will be decimated in war as we have seen in the recent past. The modern battlefield needs superior situational awareness where military personnel have to be well educated to handle various IT devices. The frontline troops will not be humans but unmanned vehicles and drones. In such scenario, a large army of semi literate foot soldiers acts as a major drawback rather than force multiplier.
