  1. "Joy Bangla" is a war cry of Bengali nationalists all over the world and not limited to Bangladesh. You hear Joy Bangla in the streets of Bengal. BJP is desperately trying to make Joy Bangla limited to Bangladesh freedom struggle.

  2.  @DipanjanPaul  It is West Bengal and not western Bengal. Joy Bangla means Victory to Bangla, which includes the Bengali language, the land of Bengalis and Bengali polity. Now Joy Bangla is being heard in the same context all over West Bengal as it was being heard in East Bengal in 1971.
