India, is a union of states and not a nation state. This is how the constitution of India defines the union of India. So, a pan India so called "national party" is an aberration. We have been passing of political parties of the Hindi belt as national parties. And non Hindi parties as regional parties. Together the non Hindi political parties represent 2/3 of the population. If political parties like NCP/SS, TMC, YSRCP, DMK, TDP, Akali Dal, BJD, TRS, JMM, SP, RJD get together, this combine will be the strongest political force in the country before which Congress and BJP are absolutely nothing. A vast and extremely diverse subcontinent like India cannot be represented by one political party dominated by one individual or family from one state of India.

@sreekuttan48 who is the strong leader of BJP in Odisha, Telengana and not Telugana, Karnataka?? In Maharashtra, Nitin Gadkari has been sidelined by Modi Shah combo. So, who's the leader of BJP in Maharashtra with same stature of Uddhav Thackeray or Sharad Pawar?? Don't tell me Devendra Fadnavis.

@player5692 it is already happening and extremely powerful forces are doing their best to prevent consolidation of regional political parties. They will pay tons of money to leaders of big regional parties from getting together to form a federal front.

BJP has been bowled out in HP, WB and managed to win decisively only in Assam due to its divide and rule politics which appeals to insurgency prone north east. And yet, paid media wants to paint this crushing defeat as a victory for Modi!

@Boe Hidden insurgency has ended in Assam?? Lol! Do you even have any idea about how many communities many of foreign origin live in Assam a Chinese name of Kamrupa which is the real name of Assam?? Only Assam where politics of hate of BJP appeals to the people did BJP truly succeed. Rest of the places where real issues matter more than politics of hate, BJP has been wiped out. And yes, it is Congress under papoo and his parivar which is helping Modi Shah BJP as never before the principal opposition party reduced to a position lesser than regional politicalparty.

Are you clear about that as the government in New Delhi has hidden the history of Kamrupa real name of north east which was under 600 years of Chinese and Burmese occupation prior to East India Company freeing these places from Burmese occupation in circa 1800. The mongoloid people of north east abhor parties like BJP which has made inroads playing into the ethnic, racial, religious divides in this complex difficult region.

@pankajsharma-fn8cf mandate of divide and rule led to the partition of India and 1000 years of foreign rule. Wanna repeat history 75 years after British have left India?? Never has India and Indians been so divided in last 75 years as under this government. In fact BJP ruled Assam and Mizoram are literally at war with each other.

@pankajsharma-fn8cf bhakts are paid to live under a rock oblivious to the reality. Things are very different on the ground. Just look what's happening in Maharashtra let alone Assam/Mizoram, Kashmir or Ladakh under Chinese occupation. Thanks to Modi meeting Chinese premier 21 times. No other Indian leader has met leader of enemy nation so many times.

@pankajsharma-fn8cf we can see how normal things are in Maharashtra where central law enforcement agents are turning out to be criminals and extortionists. Son of a film actor is sent behind bars in reprisal to 3 tons heroin getting recovered in a port owned by a businessman close to the ruling government. Kashmir is handled so well that not only Hindus but security personnel are getting slaughtered by the hundreds. Bhakts are paid to be blind deaf and mute to all that's going wrong in this government. No wonder Modi and Yogi are at each other's throats.
