When he's speaking about time reversal at around the 50:00 minute mark, about how there is no information loss and you can always reconstruct past events from future information...well if there were a computer powerful enough and with enough processing power, it could have it reconstruct data from a past event and play it back as a simulation. It would be like the computer just traveled back in time and we get to see it played out like a 3d video.

The funny thing is that Leonard believes in the holographic universe theory. It's quite feasible that an advanced race is running what we call reality as a simulation and we would never know it. I mean why not, right? That would give God a whole new meaning I suppose.

When I think about the exponential law of computer processing power...I imagine anything is possible. Todays computer can process information a billion times faster than 20 years ago. I can't even imagine what computers will be like 20 years from now much less computers from an alien race that could be billions of years more advanced than ourselves.
