I've always thought about my life this way. Also, if you're not a person, you can't die.

@Anonymous9683 It's challenging to have a view on something that isn't tangible, honestly, and you can go down some rabbit holes, but here are some thoughts... I'd like to think that when the body "dies" our consciousness goes into some other realm, what some ancient texts call limbo until it's ready to reemerge in a new body. But your guess is as good as mine. I think an important thing to consider is that we exist, rather than not exist. If you really think about that, it's quite extraordinary. You may not always exist in this body, but I think you'll always exist. That's why we have to take care of the Earth. This is kind of the way I think about it. The future generations to come are just different iterations of people living in this moment. They'll just be alive in a future moment and asking the same questions. And those questions will never stop until the universe is not able to people people, or some other form of life that can self-reflect. But death will never be an option. Yeah I know...thinking about the death of this iteration of yourself can be a little melancholy, but the universe does that for a reason...maybe it;s so you can change the world. Imagine what it would feel like to live forever. Would you really want that?
