It depends on what you're after creatively. There are benign and very powerful substances out there that contain worlds within worlds that are so distant and so departed from every day life that it's literally impossible to achieve without partaking in the substance. It's a space, it's a place, and the key is not your mind alone. It's your mind + the substance.
