Some people don't want to be charismatic. They just don't crave that attention.

You rarely meet shy Hindu people, and that is for the very fact that in many of their philosophies consciousness and the body/mind are separate. If you identify with experience, life becomes a struggle. If you enjoy experiences as a witness. No struggle.

@fkhan2006 If understanding the nature of reality from one school of Hindu philosophy is your thing, you can study the Vedas, the part I mentioned is more specifically in the Vedanta part of the Upanishads. In context to this video, the school of thought is that shyness happens on the level of the mind, which is separate from consciousness/awareness (the true self). So, if you don't identify with your feelings and emotions that surface in the mind, you can overcome those feelings. You have to become a witness to the feelings, but not become invested it those feelings. It's difficult to get the point across with a few sentences. People devote their entire lives to understanding these scriptures.

If you're a parent, socialize your kids from the moment they're able to hold their own head up, and they'll never need instructions on how to talk to others. If you need lessons as an adult, chances are you were never socialized as an kid.
