  2. I don't believe that most humans are instinctually violent. That makes no sense at all. We have a human need for companionship, for close contact, to be loved, to be attached to, to be accepted, to be seen, to be received for who we are. If those needs are met, we develop into people who are compassionate and creative and who have empathy for other people. But when we're led by the least among us, things get ugly. Good people don't want power. Evil thrives on it. Think about that for a moment
