  1. Michael is right on this one, distances are too big for interplanetary exploration. If an alien race does make it to Earth, they'd be so far ahead of us technologically that it's difficult to predict how that would play out.

  2.  @1newme425  There are some people who make that argument. Some argue that people who make that argument feel that way because of the way we treat our own species and other animals on the planet. Difficult to say either way. Tell you what though, if an alien race travels trillions of miles or light years, all the fucking way to a planet that's not even a threat to them just to destroy us... I wouldn't want to see them when they're angry.
