  1.  @EarlyAmerican  I love this history of food in the early days of the US history. When I lived in Massachusetts I went to Plimoth Plantation a few times and what a different take on the first Thanksgiving foods then what has become the traditional over the centuries. Now Im in the south and have toured civil war homes and always intrigued by what they would be eating and use of kitchen and tools available. Its a great history lesson and one we should all respect and learn from. We are all too spoiled in 2023.
