What's worse is that "That" money is probably stashed on a hard drive somewhere as a digital currency. The Feds are too stupid to properly investigate cryptocurrency. He probably bought BTC (or several crypto's) and saved it on an external drive that isn't "Seen" by the exchanges until you plug the drive in and access it via the exchange. They need to deep dive into his blockchain data to identify the "Who, what, when, and where" large transactions went too.
