  1. They do it in sneaky ways! For instance... Read the fine print of those "Free Services" that our government is handing out in bulk. An example is a new program where if you qualify you can get up to $50 for Internet or Phone service. But there is a twist. If you accept the "Free" service? You agree to allow the Federal Government access to your phone records, your emails, your browser history, your cameras, your microphones... On EVERY device that accesses or makes use of that free service. Smart Phones, Smart TVs, Laptops, Computers, Tablets, etc. All of it. The verbiage is written in such a way that there is not even an actual reason for them to turn on your phone's camera or microphone, they can just "DO IT". What's worse, something I just discovered during this month's billing cycle at Spectrum here in Wisconsin... They had been pushing this "Free" service for several months with banners, automated calls, and emails. Most people do not read the fine print. I am not one of those people. I REFUSED to even consider the program simply because I refuse to give anyone permission to things they have no need to access. I went to pay February's Spectrum Bill... Guess What? Spectrum took it upon themselves to delete all my payment information (I've never been late, I use my checking account) and set up my account to be paid by the free Government Program! This was done without my knowledge and the changes were made to my account without any notification that they were being done, and, I was not able to select a different method of payment to go back to paying for my service MYSELF! Big Brother is already watching what we do. If your internet service goes wonky or the words that you are typing seem to have an odd delay or pause? It's a good bet something is monitoring what you are doing at that moment. Happens here on YouTube all the time.
