I do not think that was a stupid thing to say. Firstly, if that money was raised for his political campaign, he couldn't use that money for personal use. He said as much "Most of that money is for my political campaign". So if he doesn't have enough personal liquidity, he cannot use campaign funds to make up the difference. He's baiting the haters...

Nope, reread what I wrote. He could not use money that was donated to his campaign funds. So that cannot be counted as available funds for his bond.
