I'd like to see a "reverse" press conference. Where the reporters sit in the gallery, and the person at the podium gets to ask them questions and get loud and aggressive when the reporters poo-poo and try to avoid answering them. It would be "fun" to see the reporter's brain fart and to be challenged to give an answer based on their personal beliefs.

You would think that's how it's supposed to work. But somehow the various alphabet agencies came to the conclusion they have authority over the Senate and Congress and can therefore deny access or delay the release by claiming time and staffing issues, the need to review documents for "sensative" information, or whatever stall tactics they can come up with. It's not supposed to be that way, and if our politicians truly supported the people and not special interests, they'd pass solid, clearly defined legislation that would force any and all government agencies to immediately turn over any and all documents to Congress or the Senate.

Did you notice that guy on the left started rubbing his head as McCarthy answered his question? It was like his brain implant was causing him pain so that he couldn't listen to the answer.

@SpokaneGraffiti Jared Kushner is not the sitting president of the United States, and he did not leverage his father's influence. Or do you find it convenient to skip over those facts? How about making a relative contribution to the conversation? Or is that not something you are capable of?

Once upon a time, I think they actually did. But now they fear being cancelled for their BS support of the false narratives being shoved down their throats. And being blacklisted if they don't tow the line and try to be honest.

Fair enough, but if they do not hound both sides equally, they then become "partisan" mouthpieces for one side only. which calls into question their motivation. The "press" is not supposed to have an opinion one way or the other. Nor are they supposed to take sides. They are to go to all parties and ask them all the hard questions. Not lean in one direction because their boss said to, because the owner threatened their jobs if they did not.

@MadSceintist How are news outlets owed something by the lenient parties? Or did you mean owned? If you meant owned, I 100% agree. Too bad public TV wasn't owned by the actual public. Spell check gets us every time. Must be vigilant for the grammar police! They are lurking under verbs and pronouns, waiting to pounce!

We get cancelled, censored, prosecuted, and put in prison for speaking our truth, but politicians get to claim their opinions are confidential or classified and not for the public to hear.

@kaydeedid Exactly. People who are still infected with TDS are, quite honestly, starting to get tiresome. With all the evidence out there, even the MSM is starting to acknowledge that the facts are indeed true. There are still those cave dwellers who think they know what they are talking about.
